i]. Simmering-
This is the cooking food in liquid kept below boiling point.

ii]. Basting-
This is brushing the top of meat withfat or its on juices during roasting to prevent it from drying up.

iii). Frying;
This is a cooking method where food is wholly, partially or dry fried in fat or oil. Eg chapatti, doughnuts, eggs etc.
